My name is Layla Blackwood, and I’m the founder of Americanista, a brand born from my deep love for our Cherokee heritage and a passion for craftsmanship. Growing up in North Carolina, I was immersed in the stories and traditions of our ancestors, learning about the strength, resilience, and rich culture that defines who we are. These stories fueled my desire to honor our people and create something truly special.
